PotPlanner was built out of frustration with the financial planning tools that already exist — most hide their assumptions, oversimplify the numbers, or tell you what you want to hear rather than what you need to know.
I built PotPlanner to be different: transparent about its assumptions, honest about uncertainty, and genuinely useful for people who want to understand their finances rather than just be reassured by them.
PotPlanner was built to solve a real personal need — not to fill a market gap identified on a spreadsheet. Every feature exists because it was genuinely needed.
